Ride to Kingston

On the last weekend in October, myself, John and Kirsty went on a little excursion down to Kingston along the Thames Tow Path.

The reward for our efforts was sushi for lunch.

    Heya Matthew
I can’t get the movie to work. It buffers to 99% and then nothing happens.
Could it be because I’m operate through Kubuntu or is that an ignorant question?

No that’s a good question – I’ll email you the file let me know how that goes. I might need to post files with a different format if other people also have difficulties

Bleh, I can’t see it either. it says ‘additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page’, but when I click on ‘install Missing Plugins’ it says No Suitable Plugins Found.

Maybe cos I’m on a mac?

Anyway, if u emailed it to ma then I’ll just ask her to show me.

Btw, Kingston along the Thames Tow Path sounds a bit posh… (or at least a bit posher than the only other Kingston I know of).

WMV is a Microsoft format. Kubuntu should handle it if I set it up with the extra codecs properly (what are the odds) but there are other friendlier container formats out there. AVI and mpeg4 are pretty popular and work across platforms, and Matroska is a very good format without patent or licensing issues but it hasn’t taken over the universe yet.
